AI Accelerator
The L-EV8 AI Accelerator is a focused training program engineered to rapidly up-skill boards and directors on AI. Our training builds on the most up to date knowledge available to inform delegates on the risks and opportunities of using AI, teach directors how to assess risks quickly and competently, and understand the legal and commercial consequences of not adopting AI.
Modern boards are too risk averse in their approach to AI, and this is due to a lack of appropriate technical skills amongst directors. A recent study by McKinsey found that effective implementation of AI requires boards to be fully informed on AI issues, yet the most recent data from the US showed only 31.6% of S&P 500 companies disclosed some level of board oversight of AI. This rate of engagement is far too low to deal with the transformational changes of AI. The AI Accelerator gives boards the skills they need to face up to the challenges of AI, and teaches delegates how to adopt AI to ensure that their businesses remain competetive.
Our experience, such Jonathan Armstrong’s time spent on the New York State Bar Association’s AI Task Force, has shown us that opting out of AI simply isn’t an option. Boards need the knowledge to grapple with the scale of the challenge that they are facing.
Our cutting edge expertise ensures that our training incorporates the latest developments in the field. In this video, reproduced with the kind permission of Punter Southall Law, Jonathan Armstrong breaks down the highly topical issue of Agentic AI, including how the technology works, the risks involved in using it, and the potential implications for AI law.
Being unprepared for the challenges of AI is a commercial risk. Governments around the world are making AI a major focus - the European Commission recently announced plans to invest €1.3 billion in critical technologies, including the deployment and uptake of AI. Companies that are unable to adopt AI quickly may miss out on lucrative funding and lose their competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.
This requires boards to diversify their backround and experience to include expertise on AI. Our mission is to redress that skills defecit by quickly and effectively upskilling the delegates and boards that we work with. The AI Accelerator provides clear, coherent advice on how boards can adress AI and prepare themselves for a rapidly changing business environment.
